Book Reading with Children
The book reading session began while Dr. Bedi was serving as LG Puducherry. Initially, the sessions included reading chapters from a book on her life titled- Making of the Top Cop.
Every week, six children are chosen and the session is live-streamed across various social media platforms of both Dr. Kiran Bedi and Demonstrative Learning. Under her mentoring and guidance, this program aims to nurture children and nourish their minds and energies towards being responsible citizens and most importantly happy human beings.
Keeping up with the theme of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the children joining the program are asked to research unsung heroes of the freedom struggle from their cities and towns and the same is discussed during the session followed by a question and answer segment with Dr. Bedi. These sessions with children are held every alternate Friday.
Grooming Leadership with Youth
With her recently launched book- Fearless Governance- focusing on grooming the youth as future leaders, alternate Fridays are dedicated to Grooming Leadership sessions where youth in the age group 18 to 22 are chosen to read chapters from the book and discuss learnings with Dr. Bedi.
