Surrender To The Almighty

Surrender To The Almighty

JAI DHARI MAA

I would often visit a home for destitute women a few years back which by definition means without home, food or shelter. But not without mercy and grace. There is no definition which can ever exclude that jiska koi nahi hota uska Bhagwan hota hai.

As I would enter I was always greeted by all these child like women completely unaware of their surroundings but were aware of greeting me with love and joy. They wanted to connect through the sense of touch. Few were just so still and disconnected from themselves, few bed ridden but all had a common thread. The soul yet wanted to live, breathe and complete it’s karmic cycle.

I had read a quote somewhere which said “There are years that ask questions and years that answer “ and here I was in a environment where all the eyes looking at me had no questions and seeked no answers. For them each moment was a journey. Journey of completion, journey of complete surrender to a very loving source… to The Almighty.
To protect them, nurture them, keep them safe and sound and eventually merge them into their light.

We all need to go beyond ourselves and give as much as we can. I think it’s so important for NGO’s to work in partnership with each other and share each other’s expertise and strength.
